We needed to listen and write down the sounds of the organisms we were able to find on our biowalk. It was a nice day and me, Mia, and Cherish walked all over campus listening for different sounds. It was hard to hear at first due to all the construction happening but then we found several creatures.
A bird
We kept hearing it but I was having a hard time seeing it in the tree then it flew out and sat on top.
Sound - chirp, chirp, tweet, tweet, tweet
More birds flying by
Sound - caw, caw, caw, caw
A squirrel
There was a lot of rustling in the tree due to several squirrels running around on the tree.
Sound - nik, gurgle, shhhh, crunch(branches)
Little water bugs that whizzed by.
While standing at water over near the Engineering Bldg. I saw this little bugs swimming around.
Sound - blup, blup, blup
